AusNiu Mining

MINING

Gold mining, end to end.

We run gold projects in-house and operate them for lease holders under written, MRA-registered tribute and contract agreements. The lease always stays with the holder.

How we work

Two ways to work with us

In-house projects, and tribute and contract mining for lease holders. One operator, one standard of accountability across both.

In-house mining

AusNiu develops and runs its own gold projects, applying the same disciplined method and reporting we hold every operation to.

Tribute & contract mining

For ML and AML holders: you keep the lease and remain the holder on record, we bring equipment, crew and method, and you receive the agreed share, all in writing and registered with the MRA before any machine moves.

End to end

Every stage of a gold project

From the first look at the ground to the sale of gold, these are the stages of a gold project. AusNiu can run the whole chain in-house, operate it under a tribute or contract agreement, or step in as your consultant on any single stage. Hover or tap a stage to see how we help.

01Site identification We help you find and evaluate ground, checking the MRA cadastre, geology and prior workings to shortlist areas worth a closer look.
02Feasibility study A hard look at whether a project pays: indicative grades, recovery method, costs and the risks that decide go or no-go.
03Survey planning We scope the field campaign so the survey answers the exact question your decision or application depends on.
04Survey Field sampling, grade estimation, mapping and boundary work, recorded with positions and depths as the evidence base for applications.
05Project design A written method statement matched to the deposit: equipment sizing, water and tailings management, site layout and progressive rehabilitation.
06Financial planning Budgets, cash-flow models and business plans written for the banks, investors and regulators who will actually read them.
07Registration and licensing ML, AML and EL application packages prepared and organised, complete and consistent before lodgement.
08Logistics support Getting people, fuel and machinery to remote ground: route planning, barging or airlift, and on-site storage where there is no road or river.
09Supply chain Sourcing and landing equipment, parts and consumables, with shipping, customs and delivery to site managed end to end.
10Staffing and training Building and training the operating crew, with the method statement and mine-safety standards as the standard everyone works to.
11Operation Running the gold operation to the agreed method, as your in-house operator or under a tribute or contract arrangement.
12Reporting Honest reporting against the written agreement: production, environmental obligations and community commitments, on a fixed schedule.
13Tax and royalties Keeping the project compliant with royalties, tax and statutory returns across both PNG and Australian obligations.
14Sale of gold Refining, export and sale through licensed gold dealers and the applicable PNG gold-export requirements.

Environment

Environmental stewardship

We work on other people's land, water and rivers, and protecting them is part of the job.

Gold mining touches land, water and rivers that communities depend on. We plan every project around responsible water and tailings management, mercury-free processing and progressive rehabilitation, so the ground is left in good order.

We work closely with the Conservation and Environment Protection Authority (CEPA) to make sure our projects meet Papua New Guinea's environmental requirements, from permitting through to closure.

Community

Community first

The people whose land and rivers we work on come first, in every agreement and every project.

Collective Empowerment Foundation logo

In the mines we work, we engage in tribute mining and choose the Collective Empowerment Foundation (CEF), an ACNC-registered Australian charity, as our partner to deliver infrastructure and services, from solar power and clean water to health and education, to some of the most remote communities across Papua New Guinea.
